There are just 92 days left.
You thought we were done with special teams this week? Well, guess again!
Junior punter Daniel Pasquariello has been punting for parts of each of the last two seasons at Penn State. The left-footed Pasquariello started in 9 games in 2015, playing in 11 of them, while Chris Gulla punted when Pasquariello was not in the game. He averaged 39 yards per punt in 2015, and has a career long of 63 yards which he set in 2014, the same season he recorded his first and so far only tackle. Pasquariello is the team’s lone Australian player, as he hails from Melbourne, Victoria.
Expect Pasquariello to be in a position battle with true freshman scholarship punter Blake Gillikin, who will likely fight with Pasquariello and Gulla for playing time right off the bat as he joins the team for summer practices.
Only 92 days until the first game of the 2016 Penn State Nittany Lions football season.
