Laugh. Out. Loud.
The 2017 recruiting class for the Baylor Bears is now down to one member after Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Kellen Mond decommitted on Wednesday, which just happened to spur the long memory of Texas Longhorns quarterback commit Sam Ehlinger:

Mond is the No. 4 dual-threat prospect in the country and his commitment last summer was a big coup for the Bears, even though the Longhorns hadn’t offered.
At the time, Texas did not appear to be in a favorable position after missing on then-Denton Guyer star Shawn Robinson, but Ehlinger’s incredible junior season made a huge difference, as Ehlinger received a fourth star and vaulted from the No. 334 player nationally to No. 149, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, and moved past Robinson as the top quarterback in Texas by 247Sports.
The Austin Westlake product threw for 3,833 yards and 50 touchdowns, while adding 1,360 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns. Just as impressively, Ehlinger completed 61.2 percent of his passes and threw only five interceptions in 391 attempts for an interception rate of 1.2 percent, an elite mark.
And that sense of humor? Well, Texas fans can certainly appreciate it.
