He hopes to be able to decide on a starter at quarterback during camp. Florida men’s golf team remains in front after second day of competition: The Gators enter today’s final round of at their NCAA Regional seven strokes ahead of Illinois and nine shots in front of current third-place squad Florida State. (Emily Padgett, Florida Gators)
UF track and field teams fall at SEC championship: The No. 3 men’s and No. 7 women’s teams finished in sixth and seventh place, respectively, at Saturday’s SEC championship. Due to injuries, the competition was an uphill battle for Florida, but the Gators did capture a few individual titles. The women’s 4×400 relay team won, even though it trailed for most of the race. Claudia Francis made a pass in the last 100 meters of the final lap to put the Gators in the lead, as you can see in the video below. Which Florida lake has the most bull gators? The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission surveyed the alligator populations in Central Florida lakes and determined how many of those alligators qualified as bull gators, which measure over nine feet long.
