After a limited pilot program, OSU is expanding their beer offerings.

The next time you take in an Ohio State football game, you might just have a couple more refreshment options than you had the last time you were there.

After an evidently successful pilot program selling beer on only the suite level of Ohio Stadium, Ohio State stadium operations and athletics announced Wednesday that beer would be available stadium wide at fall football games during the 2016 season. According to the university, the revenue generated by alcohol sales will be used to fund two new full-time positions in the Ohio State Police Department.

Funds from the sales will also go towards research done by the Ohio State University Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Drug Misuse Prevention and Recovery aimed towards enhancing prevention effort.

Of interest to many stadium goers, OSU also announced a new bag policy that’ll likely impact you or someone going to a game with you. Here’s how it essentially works out:

 

The bag sizes appear non-traditional, so you may have to expand your arsenal if you’re looking to carry a tote to a Buckeye home game.
