As we draw closer to the end of evaluation period, the coaches have doled out several more offers.
Big-time WR/ATH offered
Warren Thompson Jr. is set to have his pick of schools when he makes his decision. The 2018 Tampa Bay product, who attends one of Florida’s top football programs in Armwood High, now has the Gamecocks calling. Thompson received an offer from the team on Wednesday, his 13th.
Thompson’s recruitment has been a little interesting. On March 29, it was announced that he had committed to play for Mark Richt and the Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes. Well, at least the word was that he had, since he never said anything official. Just minutes later, though, Thompson tweeted this:
I apologize to miss lead all of the Miami fans and coaches I feel as If I rushed my judgement pic.twitter.com/Y1VJKHw4P0

Georgia, Iowa State, Louisville, Maryland, Penn State and Tennessee are among Thompson’s other offers at this point in time.
Gamecocks in 4-star CB’s top 10
The Gamecocks have been actively recruiting the state of Florida. Now, they are firmly in the sights of a top 2018 cornerback prospect. Jacksonville’s Isaiah Bolden, ranked as a top 15 cornerback by 247Sports, released his top ten last night, and the Gamecocks are in it.

Bolden, who stopped by Florida earlier this week, was offered by the Gamecocks back on April 29. Pat Washington and Travaris Robinson are recruiters of record. He brings a great deal of versatility to the table, making his mark as a dynamic kickoff/punt returner as well as a standout corner (scoring touchdowns in three different ways last year – on a kick return, on a punt return, and on a pick-six).
More offers
A couple of under-the-radar offers went out this past week.
–Coach Bobby Bentley is the primary recruiter for 2018 Nashville-area running back Master Teague (nice name)! Teague, who has already visited Tennessee, was part of a Blackman team that lost to eventual state runner-up Maryville in the state playoffs this past fall.
–Shocky Jacques-Louis (who we can place on the all-name team along with Master Teague) also received an offer from South Carolina this week, per The (Fort Myers) News-Press‘s Cory Mull. The Lehigh (Fla.) rising junior was an All-Area honorable mention after his sophomore season.
