Graduate between 2012 and 2016? Congrats! You made the cut.

Syracuse Orange football attendance is a long-standing problem at this point. But hand it to SU for going the extra mile to start to repair the issue this fall.

Today, SU Athletics announced it would be offering special season ticket prices to recent graduates for football, as well as men’s and women’s basketball. If you graduated Syracuse between 2012 and 2016, you can now purchase football season tickets for $100 total. You’ll sit in section 108 (adjacent to the student section) — which is quite the value, even compared to the Orange’s already cheap tickets. This year’s home dates, if you need a refresher: Colgate, Louisville, USF, Virginia Tech, NC State and Florida State (Notre Dome is not included).

That same group of graduates also receives a deal for basketball too. For $400, you’ll get season tickets in a still unspecified section of the Carrier Dome for all men’s and women’s home games. The Syracuse men will face Georgetown, St. John’s, Pitt, Louisville, Duke, Miami and others at home this coming season.

For those interested, you can call 888-DOMETIX or if you’re averse to phone conversations like most Millennials, go online and use the promo code RECENT GRAD. Assuming your MyCuse account probably checks to see if you actually are a recent grad? I’d imagine so.

Smart stuff from Syracuse as they continue trying to generate more excitement around the Dino Babers era. You didn’t really need the motivation for basketball, but at least the university’s conscious of your lack of money due to student loans now.
